Rule of thumb
- Keep the bike EMI within about 10% – 15% of take-home pay
- Budget running costs — fuel or charging, servicing, insurance renewal — on top of the EMI
- Prefer a 2–3 year tenure; two-wheelers lose value quickly
- Price used here is on-road price, not ex-showroom
