Frequently asked questions
How much of my income should go to EMIs?
Lenders allow up to 50% – 60% of net income for all EMIs, but many households are more comfortable at 30% – 40% so they can keep saving and handle rate rises.
Can the bank fund stamp duty?
Only for properties costing ₹10 lakh or less, where RBI allows stamp duty and registration to be included in the cost for LTV.
